Acid mine discharge, or acid rock discharge, whatever you call it, it's still poison.
The EPA defines acid mine discharge as the formation and movement of highly acidic water rich in heavy metals. This acidic water forms through the chemical reaction of surface water (rainwater, snowmelt, pond water) and shallow subsurface water with rocks that contain sulfur-bearing minerals, resulting in sulfuric acid.
This poison is largely regarded as too expensive to treat, resulting in thousands of abandoned mining sites that continue to pollute our environment.
Our advanced technology offers an ACTIVE TREATMENT with EPA Certified proven lab results.
Not only is it well developed and available in many configurations including modular, portable or stationary designs, it is scalable for flow rates from 5 gpm-400 gpm or more.
Our machines are energy efficient (~0.005w/in2), and are affordable, especially compared to traditional active treatments
NO CHEMICALS!That's right, we don't use any chemicals, there's enough in our water supply as it is.
Our unique process can adjust the pH outputs from 1.5 to 12 and removes 99.76% of metals (including iron) and reduces TDS over 85%.
