The DE-Ceramic Cartridge (Stage 7-8 Function) is a highly efficient ceramic microfilter which provides genuine sub-micron filtration of drinking water. The DE-Ceramic Cartridge is manufactured with the highly consistent and controlled pore structure necessary to remove a wide range of water borne contaminants over the life of the cartridge.
Oxidation (Stage 9) Ozone destroys algae, viruses, and bacteria on contact with no harmful by-products. Ozone oxidizes combined chlorine and bromine, freeing them to be continuously reused. Therefore the use and cost of chemicals is reduced.
Precipitation

It breaks down harmful chemicals and acts as a flocculant, causing total dissolved solids to be precipitated and easily removed by the water filtration process.

Sanitation

Ozone is the most powerful sanitizer, non-selectively killing all microorganisms while producing no harmful byproducts.
